Because the DHCPDISCOVER message is a broadcast message, and broadcasts only cross other segments when they are explicitly routed, you might have to configure a DHCP Relay Agent on the router interface so that all DHCPDISCOVER messages can be forwarded to your DHCP server. Alternatively, you can configure the router to forward DHCP messages and BOOTP message. In a routed network, you would need DHCP Relay Agents if you plan to implement only one DHCP server.

Isso se tiver alguém fazendo Boot pela rede...será que só com o Relay Agente já não funciona?

A questão está correta, o DHCP foi baseado no BOOTP e é seu sucessor de fato.

DHCP is based on the Bootstrap Protocol (BOOTP)"
"The format of DHCP messages is based on the format of BOOTP messages,

BOOTP clients with DHCP servers. Using BOOTP relay agents eliminates
the necessity of having a DHCP server on each physical network

Também acho que está errado. Sabemos que o DHCP veio depois do RARP e do BOOTP e que implementou muitos recursos destes, mas ai dizer q o uso do BOOTP é essencial pra isso, é forçar demais!
E sobre a justificativa do Fernando, se a questão usasse o termo "Podem", até estaria correta, mas o q f**** com tudo foi o termo devem! Está praticamente obrigando, e isso tá errado.
