    As a young democracy, Brazil has confronted economic and financial upheavals in the past. • Entendo que:

  O termo economy growth se refere ao aumento, ao crescimento da economia.

  Se substituir por economy expanssion, é possível significar a mesma coisa. Porém é muito mais fácil entender com um outro sentido, o de expanssão da economia, ou seja, o aumento do número de atividades exploradas no mercado.
