    In Tanzania, the national government assigns teachers to schools, which means that they are often sent to teach in faraway regions and then frequently request transfers, trying to get assignments closer to their hometowns. Ms. Njau is lucky to have been assigned to a school in the community where she grew up, and she has taught there since the start of her career.

    At the end of her four years of secondary school, she scored too low on the national exams in mathematics and bookkeeping, which meant she could not study business, as she had intended. However, her results on the English test were better. A teacher encouraged her to follow her strengths and “take the subject that seems simple so you can go far,” advice that Ms. Njau now passes on to her own students. She continued her studies as an English major and passed the difficult national examinations before studying for her teaching diploma.

• errei porque entendi que houve extrapolação. Dizer que ela teve sorte em ter sido matriculada numa escola da sua comunidade não é o mesmo que dizer que ela está feliz com sua escola. Mas.... inferi demais.rs

• Galera o motivo dela estar feliz não é apenas pela sorte de estar numa escola próxima (que é um grande problema no país). O texto também mostra que além dela ter seguido o conselho de seu/sua professor(a) ela vem passando pra frente, ela não faria isso se estivesse infeliz.

  se fosse uma questão de portugues seria extrapolação....Como posso dizer que alguém é feliz se não esta no texto, talvez ela esteja apenas seguindo em frente, como tantas pessoas.

• Depois de fazer muitas e muitas questões de inglês do CESPE, cheguei à conclusão que os examinadores dessa disciplina não são tão criteriosos quanto os de outras matérias. Digo isso sendo professora de inglês, muitas questões aqui seriam facilmente consideradas extrapolação se fossem questões de língua portuguesa.

  O trecho: "she scored too low on the national exams in mathematics and bookkeeping, which meant she could not study business, as she had intended" (ela teve uma pontuação muito baixa nos exames nacionais de matemática e contabilidade, o que significava que ela não poderia estudar negócios, como pretendia), abre margem pra dizer que ela não alcançou o que almejava inicialmente, e se conformou a ser professora no seu vilarejo.

  Trata-se de uma questão de concurso para o cargo de professor de inglês. Qual professor iria dizer que a assertiva está incorreta?

  Creio que seja esse o motivo de a banca não ter alterado o gabarito, dificilmente devem ter recebido recursos.
